Summary od the “Effective Sales Management with SugarCRM” conference

The “Effective Sales Management with SugarCRM” conference co-organized by eVolpe and SugarCRM took place on October 27th in Adgar Ochota Training Center in Warsaw. The conference was dedicated to the subject of effective sales management in the context of possibilities offered by Sugar. The participants had a chance to listen presentations delivered by four speakers and exchange their experiences and observations during lunch and discussion panel.

Within the first presentation Grzegorz Domagała, CEO at CustomerCentric Selling Poland delivered basic information about the CCS sales methodology and explained to the audience that the CRM systems work best combined with optimized sales processes.

After that, Alena Lukashova, Regional Sales Manager at SugarCRM, presented corporate overview of SugarCRM, spotlighted the challenge of user adoption and presented the ways Sugar uses to deal with it stressing the importance of the innovative Sugar UX™.

After the lunch the participants gathered to listen to Łukasz Taranta, Head of Marketing & Sales at eVolpe, presenting the key functionality of Sugar from the point of view of a person respible for sales management in medium and large enterprises. Thanks to Łukasz’s presentation the audience could have also find out what should be offered by a top-tier CRM system in the context of current trends in sales management and see how Sugar meets those expectations.

Within the last presentation Piotr Rawski, IT Business Analyst at eVolpe, brought the audience closer to the Advanced Workflow module which is one of the most recent upgrades introduced to Sugar (the Advanced Workflow module was previously reviewed on our blog). Piotr presented two exemplary scenarios in which the system makes use of the Advanced Workflow functionality to automate the business processes applying such features as validation mechanisms or task escalation. The last part of the conference was a discussion panel in which questions such as integrating Sugar with other systems or possibilities of customizing Sugar were brought into the spotlight.
